Congratulations Walt!! I wonder if he has a younger brother that would be interested in Bradley.

Walt did plenty during his career at Bradley. Coach Les recognized his potential while Walt was a prep at Julian HS and was able to convince him to matriculate to Bradley. An appropriate question is; how much better would Walt and Bradley have been if he were allowed to play his four years under JL?

since Walt spent a couple years as the only offensive weapon Geno had - he actually had probably more chance to score under Geno than under anyone else

Walt has been playing in the first quarter. He has at least 4 points and a steal so far. The announcers have had many positive comments about his G-league contributions.

Walt has looked good so far. He had 6 points in 9 minutes of play in the 1st and 2nd quarters, and when he left he had a team-leading 6 points, and the Bulls were leading the Raptors, the team with the 2nd best record in the NBA. After Walt came out of the game, the Raptors went on a run and now lead the Bulls 52-42 with 5 minutes left in the 1st half. Walt just re-entered the game and scored, and now has 8 points.

Add: Walt has 10 points at halftime, but the Bulls trail 67-56

So I pulled up the game stats on my Xfinity box and it didn’t even list Walt on the team stats page. I am DVRing the game though, so looking forward to seeing him later.

he is in the game now but the Bulls are down by 24 pts

update - end of 3rd quarter Bulls trail 93-75

Walt has 13 pts 3 rebs 5 asst

The Bulls played with only 1 starter available because of a rash of injuries to their starters and top reserves. And the Raptors' talent eventually helped them pull away to the 124-101 victory.
But Walt was impressive. He played 31 minutes off the bench, had a team-high 19 points, and a team-high 6 assists (nobody else had more than 3), and 3 steals (nobody else had more than 1). He had only 1 turnover in 31 minutes.

Walter is better than most the guards the Bulls trot out game after game.....Walter belongs in the NBA!
