Carter is from Raleigh, NC Sanderson HS and played 2010-2011 at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC...averaging 5.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg...

Thanks tornado. Carter is a VERY good player whose game has been compared to Kevin Durant. :-o If we can get this guy he will be a star at Bradley.
 
I just did some searching and could not find any other school recruiting Carter. Does anyone know who our competition is?
 
There has been no word on Chris Carter - but he is sitting on an offer from Duquesne..that came last weekend..
I would love to have this kid.......

Did you see him scrimmage while at BU tornado? I heard that he was pretty skinny and not very strong but was a really good athlete. I really like how he looks in the video I've seen but am interested in opinions of anyone else who may have seen him. Video can be deceiving.

Seen him and there is a reason why his list of offers is very short. Really weak and doesn't shoot it well. Good athlete though but at this point and time you need difference makers. Impact players are needed and no doubt Geno and Co will get them.

I've never seen him, but something to consider.
It's one thing to go with a guy who's not physically ready if you have 4 years to work with him instead of just 2.
If you are bringing in a Juco they have to be ready to play right away or it is a wasted scholarship. jmho.

Couldn't agree more. We need difference makers and hopefully 3 more this fall. If you've seen him and don't think he's the answer that's good enough for me.
 
Chris Carter put up some studly stats in his first game..a blowout 113-74 win over Wyethville CC,
he had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals... but his numbers dropped off a bit and now he's averaging in four games 10 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg, 2 spg
 
Chris Carter is still uncommitted still sitting on an offer from Duquesne but probably Bradley is no longer interested...

in his first 5 games at juco - his production has now fallen off a bit...

he's averaging 8 ppg, 4 rebs..
