BU wouldn't force a guy out this late in the game unless it was discipline or rules related. From everything I heard with TCS, that is NOT the case. While overall it might be better for both parties to go their separate ways right now, TCS wasn't forced to leave. Perhaps the writing was on the wall that playing time would be tough, but that can be looked at as a challenge as well.
I don't really think there's much left out there to get this late in the game recruiting-wise. I guess my preference would be to either bank the scholarship for next year (which will be a VERY important class), or try to find a 4-year big man that might be a redshirt candidate that we can develop.
Wouldn't it be ironic if we banked the scholarship and ended up giving it to Dwight Buycks? After all, it was Buycks' scholarship that TCS ended up with after DB failed to qualify.
