Cubs to get Jason Kendall!

When is Lee's suspension going to happen? Longest appeal in history for a guy so obviously guilty. Looks like MLB wants the Cubs in the World Series.

Ya sure, you figured it out. The appeal was supposed to be heard July 2nd but MLB pushed it back. And why would he want to serve it later in the season? Obviously he would want his suspension over ASAP so he can get back and help the Cubs win the division, when do you think he wants to serve it? September ... ya right.

It's clear Chico is either a Sox or Cards fan. 'nuff said. He's been harping on this D-Lee stuff for a month now. let it go. Suggesting that mlb wants anything positive to happen to the Cubs or any team West of Ohio is laughable.
 
Actually, the usual procedure for appeals is for the process to happen when the player next plays in NY or has a day off in a close city. That way it doesn't inconvenience the commisioner. I do not believe this to be a rule or policy just the traditional way it has been done for quite some time now.

Have you ever seen an appeal last so long. As for the sarcastic comment about why wait until September, why wait at all, get it over with as you are guilty as heck.

Yep

Lee was on the Leadoff Man show today before the game and he referenced that pressure from Chico figured into his decision to sit out the suspension now. :-o
 
Hey DC, I'm glad it took pressure from me to make him finally have enough guts to pay for his sucker punch. I'm proud of myself. As for me being a Sox or Card fan, aren't they the winners of the last 2 World Series?
