It's not quite a record, but Marshall University made 26 three pointers in a game (26-52) in a 115-60 win today against Sun Belt opponent UL Monroe.
14 of them were made by the subs.

The NCAA record for any NCAA Division game is a game on January, 1992 when then D2 Troy University beat DeVry 258-141. Troy was 51-119 from three in the game.
The previous record for a Division I game was 28 made threes (28-74), also by Troy University (by 1994 they had moved to Division I) on December 10, 1994 in a 148-132 loss to George Mason-

so they're jacking dozens of 3's while holding a 50-point lead?

Hmmm..... I know Gregg Marshall woulda gone ballistic...

Never, good coach that i would not wanted to play for. I still remember him yelling at Bradley players in St Louis
he really tore into Chris Roberts and Jim Les after we whalloped them here in Peoria and CRob tossed a half court shot at the buzzer just for the heck of it.... Marshall takes anything he can find as a reason to go ballistic.
