David Collins' age

Anyone notice that David Collins is 22 years old? That's about 2 years older than most college juniors. In fact, he's older than Crouch and Singh (who would be a senior without all the injuries). Only Dan Ruffin is older. Hopefully this means he plays like a man among boys, because against some of the league's post players, he will be literally playing against 18 and 19 year old kids.

I really think Collins, along with Austin, will be huge difference-makers for the team this year!

David is the age he is because he was born in 1985.

Just Kidding, I don't know why he's older than your average junior in college.

"A Toronto native, Collins comes to Bradley by way of Missouri-West Plains junior college. Collins spent three years there, including a redshirt season. The 7-footer had 51 blocks last season...and shot sixty percent from the floor."

I guessing he was the definition of the word 'project' when he came out of high school in Canada.
