He is the first 1000 point Bradley scorer since Walt Lemon did it in 2013 but Dyricus had also done it earlier that same season-- prior to that it was also a pretty regular occurrence, happening just about every year or two....
and even twice in some seasons..... with Andrew Warren, Jeremy Crouch, Daniel Ruffin, Cellus, Sam Maniscalco, etc...
The fact that not one single player recruited by the Joanne/Cross/Geno Ford- triumverate hit that mark has a lot to do with our empty stands...
DLO currently has 847, so with at least 22 games remaining, if DLO just averages 7 ppg (he is currently averaging 9.8 ppg), then he should be our next 1000-point Club member this season!
Luuk is next closest with 640 career points but would need to average 16 ppg to hit 1000
Nate Kennell has 582 career points but as a junior, he has at least 54 potential games to play and hit 1000, so he might do it as well...just needs 7 ppg pr sp.
I would think Elijah Childs would be next - he currently has 411 career points but as just a sophomore, has potentially 85-86 game left to hit 1000, needs just 6 ppg or so.
In his post-game talk, Coach Wardle says he wants to downplay the individual accolades...and I kind of agree...
