Drake putting up a great matchup thru most of first half. Currently up by 2 with 4 minutes left. Also, what's up with Graves's beard? Makes him look about 10 years older LOL.

Great game so far, Young easily on pace to break his career high of 23 points. Has half the teams points with 17. Things got a little physical towards the end of the half. Few bodies tumblin and Bucky threw one of the Butler players to the ground on a rebound tie up. Should be a great game in the 2nd half, both teams shooting hot. Should also mention that I heard a little BS action from the crowd LOL.

Gee ESPN2 announcers, thanks for reminding me that we had Ruffin back and that BU is as dangerous as any team in the Valley. LOL. They must not of heard yet.

Big foul on Butler, looks like The Drake is going to take it. Still up 2 with 20 seconds left.

Wow what a game. Officiating was mmmmhhhh, some calls in the last few minutes could of gone either way, especially that 3 point foul, looked rather ticky tack compared to some other stuff they were letting fly. Fans littered the court with bottle caps with a few seconds left. Either way, a monumental win for Drake and certainly proves that they belong in the top 15. Now how did we beat them again and only lose by a 1 point in the last second? LOL.

This makes our 4 Horizon games worse?
 
Talk about a nice college game to watch....back and forth the whole game....it's more fun when your team wins though!:lol:
 
I did hear Hubert Davis and the other talking heads say some disparaging remarks about Drake. They seemed to suggest they were a "paper tiger" who hadn't beaten anyone of significance, and weren't as good as their record suggested.
Davis said they didn't deserve to be in the NCAA (as an at-large) unless they won their conference, but that Butler did. That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Their RPI is now 11.

That guy is really ignorant. I've heard some of his commentary, and he is NOT a fan of the mid-majors except for teams like Butler and Gonzaga who go out and beat good BCS teams.

Here's the problem with Drake. They had a soft non-conference schedule.

Here are the positives about Drake. They did everything they could with that "soft" schedule AND beat good teams on the road in the Valley. And they get penalized for that???

Now, the Hubert Davis's of the world have no room to talk. When you beat a bonified top 10 team on the road, there is no way anyone in their right mind should now think Drake does not belong in the tournament.
