Marking my calendar now.
Kinda reminds me of when I lived in Cincy area back in 2003.... Bradley had just lost to Depaul after blowing a good lead 77-74. Struck up conversation at work with a big UC fan about my team blowing it.... he shrugged with disgust and said "Depaul? They aren't suppose to be any good this year." And that was all he said. 3 months later, UC lost at Depaul. The guy never had the courage to even look me in the eye.
A schadenfreude then... and hoping to be a schadenfreude again.

It actually looks like Drake had a bad game. They shot only 34.6% overall, and 29.6% on threes, well under their usual averages. Iowa shot better, but had a few more turnovers. And Drake shot 12-17 free throws, while Iowa did not shoot any.

Drake has plenty of time to practice that shooting, they get 2 whole weeks off before they open up conference season. Not exactly the smartest move in my books but then again could of come in handy if they had a big injury or 2 in non-conference season.

Wow...Drake shoots 17 ft's and Iowa 0? 21 fouls on Iowa and only 10 on Drake...obviously no BCS favortism or home cookin in Iowa City
