Dse

I said a much a few weeks ago and was slammed.I said he should be a starter next year and was said no way. So, bu fan 9 I agree!

I sad it weeks ago to he should be starting instead of Warren. But everyone else likes the way Warren has been playing.

I'd agree, too. We need more guys like DSE who actually want to outwork, outhustle their opponents all 40 minutes a game.

Who is everyone? I'm all for starting him over Warren. Let AW earn his way back in the line-up. Right now AW doesn't deserve the minutes hes getting. We need AW to return and fast.

I would say so, but who do you replace?

Could replace CR, but he plays better D than anyone on the team...

Would like to replace Warren because he only shows up for a half anyways, but I have the feeling that would anger some ppl...

This is where I agree that we miss Dodie a little, because he was also that type of player...

Give me a team full of Maniscalco's, Roberts', Dunson's, and DSE's, and I'm sure we would win a lot more games...

I just wish the guys who have more talent would see how they work and mimic it.

Agree on everyone but Roberts. Don't think he's got the basketball IQ of the other guys you mentioned.

I'd keep AW in the starting lineup and have CR come off the bench. It would be nice to see if DSE's dribble penetration could open the floor up for AW. Guys AW was covered the whole game like white on rice if you did not notice.

The dribble penetration is one thing that seems to be key to this offense. Ruff was great at drawing the defenders in and kicking out for the open 3. DSE seems to be an instant match-up problem for almost everyone. It often appears he could take it to the rim and get his own shot almost every time he touches it. He has been called for charging a bit, but personally I've thought most of those calls against him have been borderline garbage. Either way, I like my team to be the aggressor, so I have no problem with an occasional charge.

DSE to start! I've said it before here, I would take 4 DSE's and a big any day.

I'm lookin at the fact that he works his *ss off on the floor while other guys do a whole lot of standing around.

Does he really do that consistently? There have been several games where he's been non-existent on the boards. He has a 0 rebound game, two 1 rebound games, and two 2 rebound games. I don't expect a double-double from the guy, but his rebounding numbers tell me the effort isn't consistent.

Does that seem even remotely odd to you given what the rest of the team
does?

He's just trying to fit in...

Speaking of which, maybe you can enlighten me on why we went back to strickly man to man D when the 2-3 zone was working so well?

I'm all for starting DSE over Roberts. Chris might be the most athletic player in the conference and most nights his defense is good, but if he isn't going to use his athleticism and get to the rack, then let's have someone who will. Not to mention the fact that Dyricus has proved this year that he is probably going to be starting a lot of games in his Bradley career. The more, the better.
