Actually we didn't even that year...
Check the stats...We played 8 guys and then Adams played less than 10, Brown played less than 10, and Heemskerk played less than 10 a game...
Even after that, Jeremy played 15 a game, but barely played the last 1/2 of the season...
So really we once again only played 8 guys significant minutes...
8 guys playing significant minutes with a couple other guys also getting some minutes as well I would consider deep. I forgot about Heemskerk too. I don't think a good team plays more than 8 or 9 guys significant minutes. Starters need to get the most minutes, if they don't rhythms are thrown off, people get cold, I don't know I just wouldn't want that many playing. You always here teams that play more than that say they need to find a 8 or 9 man rotation to stick too. Playing too few guys isn't good, but neither is playing too many. I think an 8 or 9 man rotation is deep and effective.
