Dunson injured

Dodie played great tonight, no doubt. Let's be thankful with how we have a great freshman in DSE to take over the role of dD for the next 4-6 wks.

But please Leta avoid using this as an excuse. It's a tough break but we can handle it.
 
4-6 weeks!?? He broke his ARM, not his pinky. Depending on the severity, that could be season ending. 2.5 - 3 months minimum.

This is so disappointing. I feel terrible for DD, but man can we ever catch a break?

Now all we need is a DUI or some good ol' fashion domestic violence charges to really make our season complete.

This really sucks, I need to go make a drink.

Tough break for Dodie. He got off to a hot start to bring the team back from an early deficit. Hope the best for him. If he can redshirt, I'd love to have him back.

They are saying on the post game show Dodie broke his fore arm in two places. What a tough break . He is having surgery on Tues and out for the season. Hope he can red shirt. What a great kid.
 
How many years in a row have we had someone get a serious injury. This just sucks for DD as it looked like he was locked in during this game. I wonder if they'll take off the redshirt for Jake. It looks like DSE will be counted on for some heavy minutes just like SM was his freshman year when Ruff got hurt.
 
Is it to late to reverse the Eastman redshirt and replace him with Dunson? We need another outside shooter off the bench and I don't think it's gonna be Milos, he looked rather tentative out there.

From my source, it is a bad fracture and DD will miss the rest of the season. He broke both bones in the forearm ( ulna and radius bones).
 
Eastman can come off redshrt anytime..not sure he needs to due to depth at guard...

Hang in there DD.....prayers are with you and a quick recovery...

DD will still be a team leader.....BOOK IT!
 
Really tough break with Dodie going down but with the redshirt this team can't have any excuses next year. We will lose Singh and Roberts but with the talent and depth this team has, they should be a force.

To focus on this season though, I was not impressed with our play down low and unless he is nowhere close to ready, if someone drops the redshirt, I see it being Prosser and not Eastman.

no excuses play like a champion.

real teams overcome injuries and other such things

its 1 injury...and we still won the game w/o him. Don't get me wrong, this sucks the big one...but its not like this is the end of the season.
