6 minutes left, and BU will most likely lose...but these guys busted their butts tonight. McDermott is unconscious.
 
Couldn't agree more. I have noticed a couple of the biggest "fans" sitting on their hands no matter how BU was doing! If you aren't going to cheer this effort...what will you cheer for?
 
If we play with this type of effort every night, we will win a few games against the bottom half of the Valley. Even Drake at their place is winnable.

A few, but I'm not sure they would have cost us the game. A great effort by our team tonight, which makes the SIU game an even bigger disappointment. Methinks this team has learned a few things between losing to a bad SIU team, and giving #24 Creighton all they could handle.
 
It was fun to watch Gregg McDermott say on his postgame TV interview (on the Creighton ESPN feed), "We didn't play good defense tonight"

I don't think they changed the outcome, just bad calls.

CU hit everything tonight, McDermott especially. However, BU never gave up and never quit pushing the action.

I do not believe in moral victories, but this was a good effort by the Braves tonight!

Yeah, I think he is tired of coming here. Last year he cried for having to play the game earlier after his team helped snap Bradley's 11 game losing streak! And today, rightfully so, he was not happy with his team's defense. I wouldn't either if I were him. But our defense, though it played with great effort, could not hold a candle to Doug McDermott and the rest of the Creighton team.

Yes, if they played with this effort the other night against SIU, we would have won the game. But maybe we wouldn't have played as well tonight. Who knows. Hopefully we progress and this was not a fluke effort tonight.

Drake lost at home to UNI tonight, so who knows. We can beat them at their place Tuesday night, especially since we are only one game behind them in the standings.
 
Great effort, great crowd. If you are not encouraged by tonight's game, you clearly don't want us to be successful. It's about time I got to cheer!
 
Creighton is a very good team, but they better learn to put teams away or they could find themselves losing games they should not.

I really like that Bradley is still fighting even though we are struggling to get W's!
