Entire Australian pro season to be "scrapped?

The entire upcoming 2013-14 season of the top pro league in Australia (The NBL) is in jeapordy and might be cancelled..

Financial issues, squabbles, and a "de-merger" that was being orchestrated by greedy non-basketball people to try to get a hand on whatever profits there were have caused chaos in the league.
Many Americans play in Australia (Andrew Warren played there last year for the Taipans, UNI's David Gruber & Jon Montgomery), and this will affect them..
It might also have some effect on the players in the other Australian league, the State League (SEABL) where Theron Wilson plays

the Aussie NBL is not to be confused with the new Canadian pro league - the NBL - that is doing fairly well with several ex-MVC players - Al Stewart, Rodney Buford, Nick Evans...
