I am going out on a limb here.. I say we play Friday in St Louis, in the 2 o'clock time slot, in the 4-5 game...

haha, but on a serious note, its good to be back. Took about a 6 month sabbatical from the board to get my life and job in order post graduation. Looking forward to a hell of a season.

Wow, that is astounding...
Bradley is ranked as the #39 best basketball program EVER!!!
I see a few other Valley teams in the 80's and a few more in the 100-115 range

for those who don't want to search -- here's the rankings for the MVC teams..

#39 Bradley
#81 Wichita State
#84 SIU
#86 Creighton
#104 Drake
#106 Evansville
#112 Missouri State
#113 Illinois State
#125 Indiana State
#195 Northern Iowa

Bradley ranks in the TOP 10 in the decade of the 1960's
Bradley ranks inside the Top 20 in the decade of the 1950's
Bradley ranks in the Top 40 in the 1940's
from the 1970's on, no Valley team is in the Top 40

Quite a clear separation...so Bradley finishes as top Valley program ever - by a LARGE margin (among current MVC teams)
and we also saw recently Bradley is one of the BEST 10-12 mid-major programs ever - among the best two in the Valley - as measured by an objective scale over just the past 6 years!

As a point of clarification, the Mid Majority wasn't ranking the best programs ever, just over the past 6 years.

but ...as noted elsewhere in the thread on Sagarin -- had they been using past data, BU would have undoubtedly been even higher -- and UNI would be last in the MVC
