Just wondering what your realistic goals are for the upcoming season.
I haven't been this excited for a season to start in a looooooong time.
Our BU Braves have a target on our backs - it's a good feeling, man!

For Li'l Brave:

TEAM Hopes:
Win the Ft Myers tournament in Nov.
Finish Top 2 in the MVC
Win 20 games before Arch Madness
Win 8 home games in conference play
Return to MVC tourney Championship game

Individual Hopes:
DB Jr. finish Top 6 in All-time scoring for Bradley (Needs 399 pts to surpass Joe Allen)
Childs and Brown 1st Team MVC
Nate Kennel have 5th most 3-pointers made in a season (needs 85 to surpass Jerome Robinson)
Sam Singh to return for his 13th season! (or is it 14th?)

Hope to see Darrell Brown and Elijah Childs share the MVC Player of the Year award! (Actually, I'd be happy if one of them is POY)
Get significant contribution from Danya Kingsby, and one or two of the freshmen.
Stephan Gabriel on All Freshman team
See noticeable development in Ari Boya, JaShon Henry
I would like to see the Braves head to Fort Myers with an undefeated 5-0 record, though if they were 4-1 with a road loss at St. Joseph's in the first game, I'd be only slightly disappointed.
Win at least 1 game in Fort Myers.
Go 8-3 in the non-conference season and 11-7 in the MVC.

And this one might be a little overly optimistic- I'd like to see Bradley play in the NCAA Tournament again. It would be the first back to back NCAA Tournament bids since 1953-54 & 1954-55 (the only time it has happened).

Realistic hopes/goals this yr:
2 (or less) home losses
See Childs and Brown both embrace leadership
See Boya take a big step forward
MVC regular season or tournament champs
NCAA tournament round 1 win

Expectations:
Defend Carver.
20 wins.
Top 3 finish.
NCAA or NIT.

Hopes:
I think this could be a special team and win 25+ and both Valley crowns, get a better NCAA seed and possibly advance. It's not going to be easy though -- Valley should be stronger -- and we're depending on some newcomers so I'm tempering my expectations for now.

In addition to what everyone has said, I'm hoping we can have a large attendance at home games. I'm talking about a few 8,000+ games this year, maybe even hit 9,000. I want it to be loud at the home games. I also hope that some of our students will now take notice and show back up at the games. It'd be nice to have a big student section along the whole baseline like there used to be.

-22 wins
-Top 2 Regular Season MVC finish
-2 1st team All-Valley (Childs & Brown)
-MVC championship game appearance at least(hope for championship)
-average 7,500 in attendance

Thanks for the responses guys. I was just thinking of the attendance yesterday and was thinking similarly.
What if we hit 10,000 a couple times. That would be fantastic!!
Go BRAVES!
