Fatal traffic accident involving Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim

Jim Boeheim was driving on I-690 when he struck a man walking along the highway.
Boeheim is uninjured but the pedestrian was tragically killed.

One additional piece of information released was that he tested negative for alcohol, and is known to not drink alcohol.

Sad situation, just goes to show how dangerous our roadways are. No one should ever be walking out on the Interstate though.

Just got hit last week by a lady who ran a red light. Since then I've been keeping track. Just in the last 8 days, I've counted 14 cars that have gone through intersections after the light has turned red. It's ridiculous! 1
