Fieldhouse Garage Sale?

I've heard some rumblings about a fieldhouse garage sale this Saturday March 15th. Can anyone confirm this? I haven't heard a time or anything but would love to see what they have.
 
I heard it was this Saturday morning - but that is all I know right now. Maybe DC or Tornado will have the details.
 
The only reference to this "garage sale" was in a Kirk Wessler column on January 17, 2008. He mentions, near the bottom of the column, that Bradley has scheduled a 'garage sale' at the fieldhouse for March 15--

But I haven't heard anything official, and there is nothing on the BU website about this, so I am not sure what the status is.

I have emailed BP and we'll get the answer.
 
Another ridiculous question: any chance that they'll list items somewhere so schmucks like me from out-of-state might get a chance at some of the stuff?
 
Here is the official word. I received an email from Bobby Parker--

There had been some discussion of having the Garage Sale this weekend, but it will not happen. The purchasers of Fieldhouse chairs and bleacher seats can pick them up this weekend. But there is no garage sale. So do not go to the Fieldhouse unless you have purchased seats.

There may still be a garage sale in the future but nothing is currently planned. We'll let people know if we hear anything more about it.
I doubt the University will want to get involved with shipping items out of the area, so I would not expect any sort of plan to do that.
 
when i picked up my chairs from the gentleman, whom's name i'm forgetting right now, i asked what else they were selling such as bricks, etc. He said they will save some for the Hall of Fame but otherwise they aren't really selling anything else b/c i think they are on a tight time schedule to get stuff out of there. (of course if you ask some of the workers you might get a brick)

He told me Jim Thome's dad bought the urinal!

What about the floor though? that would be an awesome piece to have albeit I'm sure its not the original that was put in or woud it be?

I was joking w/ a friend saying that they should open up the doors for like an hour and let people have at the place bringing in your own saws, hammers, etc :)
 
Need some help to know if this is true but just heard KW on the Markley/ Luciano show say that seats & benches are still available and are on a first come/ first serve Sat starting @ 8:30 until 5pm. He said it will be in the paper tomorrow.

Seats and bleaches available tomorrow for walk-in's would be in line with what I was told over the phone last Friday (when I called to see if I could still order some bleacher) I was not asked to fill out a form.
