Final: Bradley 79 Drake 72

In order to finish 9-9, Bradley would have to go 5-1 over their last 6 games.
The last 6 MVC games are:
Home vs. Indiana St.
At Illinois State
At UNI
Home vs. Evansville
Home vs. Missouri St.
At Drake

just a reminder - that if we can finish 9-9 - no .500 team has ever had to play on Thursday

"Waiter I'll have what he's having". As good as BU played today to think we can end our regular season 6-1 just isn't being realistic. I'm just hoping we can put together back to back winners as it's been 87 games since we've done that. Do that and then I might start "having what he's having".

I think it's realistic at this point to finish out 3-3, and win one in Stl. That would be 13 wins on the year and represents a step forward for this program.

If our guys hit the off-season hard, we have an opportunity to make an even bigger step next season in the win-loss chart.

Drake in 2012 and our Braves in 1998 are two 9-9 teams that had to play-in. Of course, in '98, it was on Friday and not Thursday...

8-10 will likely avoid Thursday this season...

It was a nice win and a good day to get it on with the former MVC champs there. Just a couple days ago some fans were so irate they couldn't see straight. Remember...this is part of that roller coaster ride. I see this team going 3-3 at best, the rest of the season.

Yeah.....overly optimistic when we win and overly pessimistic when we lose

I would be happy to win the home games and maybe somehow get a win at UNI or DU......I think that would be considered a pretty successful finish....

Don't look now but Jayden is 14 of his last 21 from 3!

JH has been playing pretty well...especially on the offensive end. He doesn't get himself in trouble too often and when he does he's still on his feet instead of in the air. He keeps the offense moving by moving the ball quicker and making good passes.......

I remember DLO playing pretty well the last 10-12 games last year though too

Better Right?

Better Right?

We have 9 wins. If going forward, we go 3-3, that gives us 12 wins.

Last year, how would 12 wins have felt?

We are slowing getting better.

Yeah.....overly optimistic ......

was just reflecting back to the freshman year for many of those '95-96 guys...
they finished the season strong winning 5 of 6...with five freshmen contributing and a few more sophomores..
beating InSU, Tulas, ISU, then losing to Drake but beating UNI & then beat DePaul.
Then the following year the confidence grew as we were 23-8 and started the season winning 9 of 11 and 13 of 16.
That group had nine freshmen & sophomores.

Aaron Zobrist, Bayo, AP, & Kerry Burrell

Amazing that a clean copy of the "Deon Jackson shot" game has never been found, nor the Villanova fight game. Been hunting for those for awhile.

I wasn't really talking about you or anyone specific T. Just generally speaking really

Zobrist was a great free throw shooter I can't come up with a streak for him.

But James Gillingham made 44 straight in games . That's crazy good.

Gilbert Gillingham Grainger what should've been.

Agree completely even though I, really, thought they could go 8-10 or 9-9 in the Valley before the season began but we lost some games that we had chances to win. 3-3 or better yet 4-2 would make for a great finish. Still hoping to stay out of the Thursday night game but now looking more difficult.
