Here's our chance to do things right - rebound, make the bunnies, get the seniors to show up! Nice to have O-Show back and he'll be sharper.
Find our identity.

I think we can all agree that the absurd amt of subbing (esp. in the last game) is not helping the flow of this team.

I've heard the team has had a couple intense practices since Saturday's loss. Let's hope we get back to winning.
Nice - and more important than winning is doing things the way we're accustomed...lack of rebounding is either lack of intensity or execution (box out) or both. No excuses - if we're to contend in the Valley, we NEED to be a team that is strong at rebounding and winning the 50-50 balls.

That statement reminds me of the time Dick Versace was the coach. During a spell of bad losses and subpar performances. He held what he called suicide practices. Soon after the team really started playing to capabilities. Just a memory from years ago. Hope this gets them to execute better in rebounding and shooting at a better clip.

IIRC...same for when JL was coach, in 2005-06...
after a bad series of losses in January, Coach Les announced that all playing time was going to be re-apportioned
based on effort in practice...
That's when he inserted JJ Tauai into the starting lineup and the new group of starters immediately blew out Evansvulle by 30,
then won 14 of the next 18 games making a run to the Sweet Sixteen.

I wonder if Coach Wardle tells is team about how in the past, Bradley's teams under his guidance won the 2019& 2020 MVC tournament! Those teams I believe had some bad periods of losing games, but came through nearing the end of the season as well as in the MVC playoffs! Does he refer to what was mentioned above with Jim Les team that had a bad January streak and made sweet 16 or Dick Versace teams who played at times inconsistent 🏀 but won the NIT! I don't put much emphasis in the early season games because how they play at the end of the season is what counts!

Ok, confession time: I really don't see BU as a national contender; I mostly care about conference games. Let the team make their mistakes pre-conference and then win conference games. The NIT games (or possible NCAA game) are nice but, for me, almost anti-climatic.

I have come to this acceptance as well. I am most concerned with making a run in the MVC tournament. Anything after is icing.

They are scoring at will under the basket with layup after layup.
Outscored us 24-11 in the last 7 minutes of the half.
Quit playing team ball on both offense and defense

Still doesnt seem like they have that one "guy" when they need someone to make something happen. Was hoping Burch or Jaquan could make that jump this year. Still so early, have to clean a lot up, all about conference play!

BU dodged a bullet and pulled this one out when they really could have blown out this UMass-Lowell team if they had been focused for much of the game. Not sure if they simply didn't take them seriously or they really have some serious problems that will bite them in the backside against stronger competition if they don't get their act together.

Well this is a start. Could we have played better, yes we can. Too many times in this game we got beat on drives to the basket. On post game show Wardle made mention of getting hammered down low. Need for continued effort to get better on our rebounding. That said, we played good for about twenty minutes. Have to play closer to 40 minutes. That will take time to get there. Hope the team makes strides to play better ball going forward. Still at some point would like to see Richardson and Zobrist get some minutes to see what they can contribute. On to Florida and see if we can get some more wins.
