Final: Bradley 90 Valparaiso 84

No burch again. We need him to win 3 games. I'm guessing he is hurt. Something doesn't make sense. Watched him on sidelines and he is engaged and cheering team on. Coach have you heard anything

All we know is that Coach Wardle said he was dealing with a tooth infection early last month that caused him to miss a couple games. But I am not sure that explains his limited minutes in the last several games. I've heard reports there is more to the story.

Thanks for information. I find that situation very perplexing. It's not like he is a 5th year portal player. He has been here 3 years. If it's discipline then coach is doing the right thing

has anyone seen any replay video clips of the contact that caused injury to Tupuola, Dease or Chaney?
None of the incidents were called fouls, but some Valpo fans are claiming they were cheap shots
that were intentionally trying to injure.

Yeah, right, because Bradley is known for their history of cheap shots..... Not! 🙄

From what I saw, it appeared that Tupuola fell into Meta, fouling Meta and suffering a blow to the mouth, causing him to lose the tooth. There was never a doubt that the officials, who reviewed the incident, would not call a flagrant foul, as Meta did nothing to cause the injury. In facrt, Meta was the one who was fouled and sent to the free throw line. It was incidental contact, but just unfortunate for the Valpo big man.

Did anyone notice that a couple minutes later, after the video review, and after Meta shot the two free throws (he made 1 of 2), Tupuola checked in at the scorers table to return to the game. However, the officials blocked him from entering the game. The rules state that if a player checks out of the game, he cannot return until some time elapses off the clock. He was trying to return on the same clock stoppage from when the injury and foul occurred.

Maybe the players will use CBS having UNI favored to win as added fuel to hopefully come away with a win today. Let's get it done guys. Will not be easy but I believe Bradley can do it. "GO BRAVES"

Chaney literally ran into Meta's screen. It was a good screen and he was straight up, nothing malicious. It's on his teammate for not calling it out if anything.

Dease looked like he went possibly knee to knee with Meta. Worst case Meta's leg was out too wide, but definitely not malicious.

Dease also went to the lockerroom with a mouth injury - or one report said a chipped or loose tooth
and returned and played the game with a bulky mouthpiece
I think he also got hit in the mouth Thursday nite, too
