Final Four Scholarships

Since it looks like the rumors of Donte Thomas and anyone else leaving didn't materialize and we've already got three commitments, that leaves four remaining scholarships. Who do you think/hope the final four spots will go to?

I think my preference would be Max B, XT returning, Torres, and Pittman.

Remaining Scholarships

Hello Everyone,

With Okafor, DLO and Pittman, do we now have enough guards?

Can current offers be pulled on other guard candidates?

How many scholarships are available now?

Do we still have offers out to Navigato, S Hauser, J Hauser?

Will Coach Wardle target only bigger men now?

Thank you.

yes - offers to all three but the Hausers are currently in their junior & freshman seasons - and thus are 2016 & 2018 recruits respectively

I am hearing XT will be staying, but that another scholarship may likely be opening.

Lifted from the Joel Okafor thread-

When I posted that top statement Thursday morning, Omari was who I was referring to. Many of you PM'ed me and know that. Now, apparently, it has become public knowledge.
There have been multiple rumors swirling about this since he is on track to graduate. He is thinking about transferring and playing his final season closer to home (New Jersey). But the culture shock of the new environment surrounding the coaching change is a major reason he has changed his mind about staying.

I think that would be a great idea for Omari and I'd bet it would not break to many hearts.

Wily C......Your comment regarding Omari is out of line and mean spirited! While Omari may have been a marginal player, I can assure you that he is a great kid. He is polite, intelligent and well-spoken. He is a good student who wants to go to law school and become a lawyer like his Father. Your statement is not at all well grounded and was demeaning to you.

There are many kids who are polite, intelligent and well-spoken, but we're talking basketball and we had too many marginal players, if even that. Wish him luck wherever he goes and I hope he has a successful law practice.

as negative as some are - Omari is at least one kid who gives us 10-12 ppg - something 3/4+ of the players we've brought in over the past four years could not..

Sounds to me like he didn't like the culture shock of working a little harder.

You're calling someone's comment mean-spirited?

That's rich.

Wardle and Gavin Sullivan are good friends. Finke is going high major so Wardle is most likely looking at other Irish 16u team members. Kansas and Illinois are already on Finke so the chances he ends up at BU are slim and none. I'm sure we will offer Finke but it would be a miracle if he ends up here. The Irish are populated with Mid and Low Major players so I'm guessing that he is scouting the rest of the team more than Finke.
