Just watched the game- I never heard whether Osiris was ill or something, but he played about as bad a game as it's possible to play.
He 0-7 from the field, and he took some low-percentage shots. He defended Harry Marshall the entire game, and Marshall had a big game for Indiana State with 18 points, and 10-11 from the free throw line. Osiris fouled out in the last minute of the game. Odiakosa had another big game with 21 points and 9 rebounds, but nobody else for Illinois State did much. So both teams now join the logjam at 6-6.
King O looked like Warren last night.
AW will be the player we all know he can be! It may not happen this year but I expect big things from him before he leaves the hilltop! Missing a year from active playing has really messed with his game. If you took a year off from any sport I'd like to see how you would react. I expect him to be better conditioned going into his senior year. He is not as explosive and that is the difference.
Overall??? I think that AW is a better shooter than eldridge. However I think that eldridge can take over games with his play on both ends of the floor. AW seems to be the more consistent player....hmmm. I'd take AW over eldridge for his more consistent play. But would say that Eldridge is the more dynamic player.does anyone thing andrew warren is better than eldridge?

King O is not soft like Warren.
He is just soft he needs to get mean and have a lot more heart.
No.
Warren is a fairly one dimensional player right now...He is nowhere near the athlete that Eldridge is, so his upside is fairly limited.
He can be a great shooter when he has space, and that is a very valuable skill...but he is not athletic enough to create his own shot on a consistent basis, and he is not strong at all with the ball whenever there is contact on offense.
Put him on a wing and have him there to finish some drive-and-kick offensive sets, and he can excel...but run him into the lane and have him try to score in traffic, and bad things seem to happen more often than not...
