Final score: Bradley 74 Illinois State 60

Great game all around, now let us see if we can take that effort against UIC on Tuesday. Will not be an easy game as they will want to get back on track after their loss last night.

10,500 is sellout capacity now with the adjustments to seating areas throughout the arena. It used to be 11,500 until maybe about 2014/15.
Also because Bradley has removed a couple hundred seats on the floor at the north end where the Braves Club lounge is now located

Great win and it definitely was like the old days when the place is a sellout and the crowd was really loud and into it last night. Malham has to be one of the worst officials in the country as the fouls called on Alex and Timo in the second half were just horrible calls.

Tonight's attendance was 10,458-
home attendance average is now 6,248, highest by far in the MVC, and currently the highest
figure Bradley's had since before Geno & Joanne tanked the attendance 13-14 years ago.
Prior to 2012, the average attendance was never below 6900 going all the way back to the 1970's Fieldhouse days

The game with my family last night was super Entertaining!!!! My Niece is at Bradley and I'm an Alum so was very special! I had great seats row 3 section 110 nearly on the floor and looking at the Bradley Bench! I could hear Coach Wardle when he was Loud!!!! Plus my rate was 15$ per ticket! Can't find that kind of entertainment anywhere at that price! Bradley now controls its own destiny to be top 2 in the league! Jaquan is definitely in consideration for the Larry Bird award! He's so fun to watch! I'll be at UIC Tuesday for another huge game!!! GO BRAVES!

ISU's TOP four scorers are Kinzinger, Walker, Coleman & Skunberg...

Jonovic scored as many points as ALL FOUR of them combined &
had more rebounds+blocks+FTs than all four combined

Can we end the disses on Meta...

Why doesn't he and the rest of the team play with that type of intensity every game?It just shouldn't be for the big games. They are getting paid,we should expect it every game.

This game should serve at a good recruiting tool because no team in the Valley and most mid majors even come close to getting 10,500 fans in their building supporting them like Bradley.

Yes Meta had a good game last night, but as has been the case all year, he is good one game then disappears for a few. Too inconsistent. Would love him to finish out his career playing like he did last night and going into St. Louis. We can all hope for a first round game in the NCAA Tournament or maybe a bid for the NIT if we fall short. Am sure Meta is a fine young man, but please be more consistent. His time is dwindling down.

I saw something in Meta last night that I think we have been missing all year. Senior leadership. Late in the second half when ISU got within a basket, coach called timeout. It was Meta that gathered the team together and gave them the most passionate pep talk I’ve seen all season. He’s done that several times in the last few games. Maybe as a team they listened because we came out of the time out and put them away.

Meta looked good last night but you need to consider who was trying to guard him. I only wish he could play like that against the good big men in the Valley yet he has not for the most part. I think he needs to play around 16 minutes to be more effective.

I want to know the specifics of a "sell-out". does some company, or Bradley, "buy" the remaining seats just so they can advertise it as a sell out? Because it was absolutely not sold out, and you can not tell me people bought the large groups of empty seats in the high corners and ends. Anyone know the trade secrets or care to share?

I don't know the answer, nor who you could ask. But, some times the last tickets are donated to youth groups. Those count as tickets "sold". Also, they might have been sent to ISU. The MVC requires every team to send a set number of tickets to the visiting team, and they are not required to return the unsold ones, though they often do.
And I wouldn't call them "large groups of empty seats". There were only few dozen empty seats up there. Bradley is not in charge of the counting and reporting the number of tickets sold. That is the Civic Center's responsibility, so I don't think they would fudge the numbers like a lot of campus arenas do that are run by their athletic departments.
Also, nearly every "sold out" event has some tickets left on hand, in case they are needed.

No on meta,he is weak
Lol, they were attacking him in the first half defensively until we switched to a zone. Offensively, when Lieb was out of the game, he towered over the guys inside, and still struggled to consistently get position. Totally agree with you.

Could be that if indeed the game was sold out, that at the last minute they could not attend for whatever reason. Everything from feeling sick, to not able to find babysitter at the last minute etc, etc.
