Final score: Bradley 75 Indiana State 68

...Bradley Mount Rushmore of Bad Bigs- Jonovic, Thomas, Yu and Vander K. Doesn't matter who is in, they all lack the ability to score and they don't rebound and their defense off the ball is really bad.
Timo might be our best option inside and he has a knack for getting offensive boards. He needs to add 10 lbs of muscle in the offseason and he will be pretty good in the paint his last 2 seasons. I like the strides he's made, tho his 3-point shooting needs a LOT of work!

I actually thought he left Zo on the floor after he missed a couple shots and didn't stop his defender from scoring - was good to see. He seems to have a long leash on Montana this season - maybe the kid just doesn't make many mistakes tho.
I think I agree for this game in particular he gave some leash for Zobrist. In general I don't see Wardle's style of micro manage then pull at any sign of mistake is very conducive for developing freshmen who will make mistakes.

It might just be me but it seems like Burch has been limited to a spot up 3-point shooter and is not driving to the basket as much, which I thought was his MO. Not sure why coaching would limit him like that.
Burch is hurt. Every time he was off the court he had a back brace on. Probably affects his explosiveness.

My observation Wardle seems to micro manage and pull guys as soon as they make mistakes. Just my interpretation. Maybe some is warranted and perhaps it is things like "guys come on we just went over this or that in pregame". He has been successful so what do I know. :-)
Spot on about his micro managing this team. Last season he was a lot calmer on the sideline and let the guys play more freely but it is the complete opposite now. My opinion is players should not be pulled after one mistake whether is was on defense or offense. You have to allow them to play thru mistakes so they will learn from them. Pulling them out immediately to me is not the answer plus I am pretty sure when that mistake happen they are full aware of what they did wrong and will try to fix it on their own.

Burch did a lot of driving/slashing last night - just didn't finish - he missed an easy 8-foot floater (airball) and 2 or 3 bunny layups. He's got to gain confidence in his "short game" much like I need to on the golf course!!! ;)
While on the bench, Burch was wearing some sort of belt on the lower back that I believe provides a small electric stimulation. I have a feeling he was not at 100% and it impacted his game. Hopefully whatever it is isn’t a problem.

Saturday is the Reunion Celebration for the teams from 1985-86, 1995-96, and 2005-06, and a number of the players from those teams will attend a celebration at the Pere Marquette at 4:30 pm, and attend the 7:00 pm game at Carver Arena against UIC.
Information- https://bradleybraves.com/news/2025...-30-40-year-anniversaries-of-three-teams.aspx

I haven't seen a list of the players who will attend, other than Hersey Hawkins who has been announced. It should be a great event.
Tickets are required and It's not too late to get them. They are only $10, which gets you admission to the event at the Pere Marquette Ball Room, and includes hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and a chance to meet and talk with the players attending.
Note that Braves Club members receive complimentary admission to the Reunion Event, but you still must register here-

Wow! What a night it should be! But...uh...what about the 2015-'16 team?? They were a big part of Coach Wardle's 200 wins at BU!!! ;)

Going back to my last post, sadly, without that 1st season, Wardle would still have easily gotten to 200 wins this season. LOL

The Reunion Celebration for the 85-86, 95-96 & 05-06 teams are being honored before the game and I would think some of them plan to be there at the game which will hopefully inspire the 25-26 team on to victory.

The only name mentioned so far who will be at the Reunion has been Hersey Hawkins. But, I am sure there will be many more, including guys who live locally. I have heard several other names unofficially, but can't confirm.
