Bradley's next game is Wednesday, January 30 at Evansville. The game starts at 6:00 PM.
Bradley is 10-11, and 2-6 in the MVC. Evansville is 9-12, and 3-5 in the MVC. They are 8-3 at home. Evansville's 3 MVC wins were impressive- home wins over 1st place Loyola, and 2nd place Drake, and a road win at Missouri State. They also played Illinois State close twice, but lost both games. They have lost 3 in a row.
Bradley is coming off their best game of the season last Wednesday in a 17 point blowout of Illinois State, and possibly their worst game of the season in a road loss at Missouri State Saturday in which they scored just 14 first half points, and 37 points total, losing 55-37.

We are not the worst team in the conf. Go prove it. We have put ourselves in a must win situation. Go do it. Make and finish plays. We should force a lot of turnovers we should turn them into points. Hold em under 60 like we’ve been doin. Get to the line and convert them. Simple right? Lol Go Braves.

everything's closed - schools, universities, even banks & other businesses....
so is the game in Evansville still on for sure? Is everyone like refs, game personnel, etc...gonna be there?

Weve scored 70 or more 9 times and are 5 and 4 in those games. 70 points would have won us a few that we lost. I think 70 or more does the trick tonight. Whos making the shots? Luk, Dbj, Nate,Childs, Henry, Bar,Brummett, Lundy, Dlo? Go! Go Go BU. Go Go Go BU.

Bradley wins 81-73

Braves put up a 47 point 2nd half on the road at Evansville

as has been the case recently - 4 or 5 guys carried us - Nate, DLO, Eli & DB & Luuk - Koch Bar & Ari were non-factors, Luqman contributed a little in the 1st half

Bradley puts it away with a nice 2nd half.

DLO had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Elijah Childs also had a double-double with 17 & 11. Nate Kennell was also in double figures with 13, and Luuk van Bree also had a great 2nd half after going scoreless in the first half.

A very good win. Kids came to play in the 2nd half......BUT....I still do not understand what is going on with Ari. He is not playing which indicates that he still has some physical problems( Does the ankle need more rest?), or is there some kind of problem between he and the coaches or between he and some of the other players. In any case, WHAT IS GOING ON? CUMMON COACH, TAKE DOWN THE CURTAINS AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE FANS WHO SUPPORT YOUR PROGRAM. TALK TO US!

I’d say Ari not ready offensively, and we def can’t afford to play him if we are already struggling mightily on offense. Real glad we won tonight. Seemed like pretty low TO’s and the difference was shots fell.

Really well played 2nd half. Out rebounding them by a wide margin in the 2nd half and contained them on the defensive end while converting on the offensive end. DLO with 18/12 and Eli with 17/11. This is one we had to have if we're going to climb out of the cellar and stay out of the play in game. Need to take advantage of SIU's recent struggles and take it to them. Great job tonight guys! KEEP GETTING ER DONE!

I find myself sad to think this is a "good win". This was a "for-sure" win on November 22.

This basketball team is not good, not good at all - most of the time... and yet finds ways to win sparingly to make fans feel hope.

Not me. I set my sights on 2-4 years from now.

I know Mac - but with a win Saturday we could be in 6th place and well on the way to being "out of the race for Thursday" - something that seemed a certainty just a week ago

Yeah, I hear you and basically agree. Hope you’re still watching along with us tho. In a year when you have to exploit the positives just to keep your interest & sanity, this was a good win.

This was a good win and a must win, as our goal for the season has shifted from hoping for a top 3 spot to getting out of the Thursday night “pillow fight” in St.Louis. As the season goes on, each game will become more important as each of the bottom feeders losses will become more important. Saturday night against SIU is critical. A win will put the game next Weds. at UNI as the most important game to date, of the season. As the Braves try to plow their way out of what seems to be their annual MVC Tournament play-in game, it is now time for our customary scoreboard and standings watching.

First, BU scores 85 against ISUred, then 37 at MO State, and 47 in the second half at Evansville. You never know which team will show up.

I too am frustrated with the team's valley performance, but I actually enjoyed watching the Evansville game! I thought the effort was good and very pleased to see four players score in double figures. What's not to like about shooting over 50% FG% and 3P%? Hopefully this was a breakout game for DLO.
