Bradley hosts Indiana State Saturday, Feb. 9, at 7 pm in Carver Arena.
Bradley is now 12-12, and 4-7 in the MVC. Indiana State is 12-11, 4-7.
The teams played in Terre Haute on January 5, and Indiana State won 65-60 in a game that Bradley lead much of the game, but then stalled and Indiana State pulled ahead in the 2nd half. Darrel Brown had his career high of 32 points, but everyone else struggled offensively. DLO had 8 points, and nobody else had more than 5 points.

The Sycamores' leading scorer is now sophomore Tyreke Key, as Jordan Barnes continues to struggle offensively. Key averages 16.8 ppg, Barnes averages 16.1 ppg.
Iowa transfer Christian Williams, who was at one time a Bradley recruit and who became eligible at mid-season, averages 9.2 ppg and is their leading rebounder with 5.1 rpg.
As a team, they shoot 37.1% from three, with Tyreke Key shooting 48.3% and Christian Williams at 47.1% on the season.
Oddly, Indiana State was by far the #1 team in the MVC in 3-point shooting in the non-conference season (76-169 = 45%), but is ranked a distant 10th in conference play (51-173 = 29.5).

Braves have nothing to lose this season. Last game, they finally played like it. Cut ‘em loose and let it rip the last part of the season. Who knows what could happen.

Nice to get a good beat down in a conference game. This team is finally playing with a chip on its shoulder again. Henry is going to be a force in the years to come, he plays very strong for a Freshman.

I love Henry. Dbj was great again. Tonight was so much fun. More than the Redbirds game and thats saying something. Keep it up guys.

If only we made our free throws, we could have reached that 100 mark. It looks like our confidence is coming back. Let's see/hope if we can ride this out for the rest of the year.

Wow. Ridiculous game. Playing like a different team... not gonna dwell on how long it took this season to find ourselves. Just keep it up!

Best game, start to finish, this year!

Bradley never trailed, lead by as many as 37 points, and won in a blowout 96-67 over Indiana State.
They seemed like they couldn't miss (actually they were 20-32 overall and 9-12 from three) in the 1st half and lead 54-27 at halftime.
The 2nd half wasn't much different except that the shooting cooled off to a still terrific 13-26 overall, and 5-13 from three. BU was 57% overall and 56% from three for the game.
Bradley played great defense, dominated the rebounding, had few turnovers considering the pace of the game, and the subbing out of all the starters early,
I thought everyone played well. Darrell Brown had 26 points and was 6-9 from three, Nate Kennell was 4-4 from three and had 16 points, and Ja'Shon Henry had a career high 17 points & 5 rebounds off the bench to be named Player of the Game.

We need to play another game like this next Wednesday against Loyola!

-the best game any Bradley team has played in at least eight years, since we hammered Drake by 26
-the ISU game was just as fun, but this one was really fun to watch in every aspect - offensive, shooting, passing, defense, deflections, finishing at the rim..
-we are now in a tie for 7th and just one win behind 4th place Valpo
-I would not trade Jashon Henry for any other freshman in the league
-DB for Player of the Week & Ja'Shon Henry for Newcomer of the Week!!

Over the last 7 games (14 halves), we’’ve played well in all but 3 halves (both halves at Mo. St and the second half against SIU). Seems like we’re hitting our groove. The team has been fun to watch lately. Really wish we had held on against SIU, but we’re still 5-2 over the last 7 games. Tonight was the most fun I’ve had at game in a long time, including the ISU game, which was also a ton of fun.

Clearly, the team's energy, desire and competitiveness were excellent tonight! This team is really fun to watch when they play a fast paced offense and make crisp passes. Congratulation to the coaches and players on a job well done!

Believe it or not, Bradley now owns the longest winning streak of any MVC team. They are the only MVC team with a 2-game winning streak. Loyola, Drake, Valpo, Missouri State, and SIU all have 1-game winning streaks, and the others have losing streaks.

What an enjoyable to watch! Fast start and this time we didn't let up. I've said it before and I'll say it again. When we are aggressive on both ends good things happen and they sure did in this game. What was really impressive about the game is that we got our big lead in the 1st 25 minutes and Eli had 0 points. We dominated the boards 44-27 and we had a season high 19 assists on our 33 made FG's. We also held ISU Blue to just 6-22 from 3 and overall just 38% from the field. That's being aggressive. It took us awhile but we've climbed out of last place. Both Valpo, against Loyola, and Missouri State, against ISU Red, are at home on Sunday and would be tied for 3rd with Drake at 7-5 if they win and would be 2 games ahead of us with 6 to play. One or both lose and they would be tied with SIU and just 1 game ahead of us. Missouri State would hold the tie breaker over us by virtue of their 2 wins so that's 1 team we don't want to end up in a 2 way tie with. Loyola is up next and I'm sure it won't be as easy as this game was. Hope we can keep this up in this game and for the rest of the season and they will have to if they don't want to finish in the bottom 4. Go get em boys! Get er done!

This is the way we should play every home game - this is what teams should have to expect every time they come into Carver..
...anyone remember the atmosphere at Robertson?

Y'all see why Indiana State needs to boot Lansing whatever the financials. He has lost the team at some point for the last eight years, excluding his first year when the team he inherited went to the Big Dance. This year he lost them as soon as the conference began. Every season since has been part of a downhill slide & if you take away the NAIA, D2 & D3 wins he has an overall losing record. The team (and I use the term team loosely) that you saw last night played matador defense, showed no emotion or fight, and gave in after the first five minutes. An embarrassment to Sycamore fans everywhere.
