Bradley's next game is at Evansville, Wednesday, Feb. 7, 7:00 pm.
Bradley is now 17-6, and 9-3 in the MVC, and in 3rd place. They have won 11 of their last 12. The only loss was the overtime loss at Indiana State on Jan. 27.
Evansville is 14-9 overall, and 5-7 in the MVC, and in a 3-way tie for 8th place. They have won their last 3 games (home vs. ILSU and UIC and at Valparaiso).

Leading scorer, 6'9" forward Ben Humrichous, missed 5 straight games with a foot injury, including their Jan. 10 game at Bradley. He returned and played 11 minutes and scored 7 points in their Jan. 17 game vs. Valpo. But, then he missed the next 3 games, and now has returned again and played in the last two. In their last game, a 63-62 win at Valparaiso, Humrichouse played 24 minutes, was 3-12 overall, and 0-5 from three, and had 8 points, well below his average of 15 points per game. The only other Evansville player averaging double digits is forward Yacine Tuomi (12.0 ppg and a team-leading 6.6 rpg). Preseason 2nd team All-MVC pick Kenny Strawbridge is 3rd in scoring with 9.6 ppg.

We are better then Evansville and another must win game. Jump on them early again and keep the offense going so we score 75 points or more. No doubt the defense needs to be good but we should be able to hold their offense to 64 points or less.
 
UE with one of the most devoted fan bases in the Valley, along with Murray St. and our Braves.
Get off to a good start and come out with intensity like we did vs. ISU-red.
Can't afford to lose road games like this if we want to finish 1st or 2nd.

Did Wardle leave the Bradley team at home today? Down double figures in the first half is not the BU team we have seen recently. 7 minutes to go in the first half and we are down 15.

TO's have been baaad, several travels? just weird stuff, and not able to score well. Think they must have been overlooking this game with Drake in sights, I think Wardle will have them ready for 2nd half.

Just have to have patience...we were running good offense (aside from the turnovers) for much of the first half, but shots weren't falling. It's evening out now ...
 
Leons having a really tough game....traveling, bad passes, getting blocked on multiple shots, only 4cpts a on the 2nd half.:-o We need to score and not look back.....cannot let these guys keep hanging around!:mad:
