Final score UNI 59 BU 46

As for specific players: I would like to see Collins play some real minutes instead of just a couple in the first half and then the bench for the rest of the game if he does anything wrong. No wonder he plays timid.

...

Where was SS during this fiasco? He may not be showy but he is a solid player and should have matched up well.

Why not try a bigger lineup at times? Playing 4 guards was a necessity last year but not this year. These guys are not going to develop without getting some minutes!

you have read my mind. We keep hearing how people think collins is a bust and has been disappointing, but the guy hardly gets minutes. One bad defensive play or bad foul and he's on the bench for the game. no wonder he's not playing as aggressive as earlier in the year. let him foul out every game; he doesn't get used much anyway!

I also really like SS. hes got great hands, takes it strong to the hoop, and while not the most athletic guy out there, isn't afraid to use his body.

i've been saying all year that les needs to use a 3 guard, 2 bigs lineup. I think collins and salley would both improve if they had another big in there to help them play defense, sag the opponent's defense, and rebound.

Rebounding is one of the less-glorious, yet most important aspects to a basketball game, and we are just awful. There is really no point in even playing defense if you don't recover the miss. Likewise, i have started hoping opponents make the back end of their 2-shot free throws, simply so we don't have to risk missing the rebounds.

Here's to a big win tonight and a turnaround of our recent fortunes!
