Final score- Washington State 91 Bradley 74

I figured it would've been him looking back at that roster...wonder what ever became of him

Andrew was a really nice kid, but he wasn't ready for D1 basketball. He left after redshirting the 2010-11 season at Bradley. He eventually attended South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona, where he played one season of basketball in 2012-13 - https://accac.org/sports/mbkb/2012-13/players/andrewdavisap0j

After that, he apparently gave up playing college basketball, returned home (he was from Edmond, OK), and got his undergrad degree from the University of Oklahoma. He then attended law school at the University of Arizona and became a lawyer. He is now an attorney with his father's law practice in Oklahoma City. - https://dandavislaw.com/attorneys/

Getting back to tonight’s game . . .
The Braves’ theme for this season is “Prove ‘em”. Beating a good Washington State team on the road would be the first evidence that this is a special season. A loss doesn’t eliminate that possibility, but we all know the committee looks for every excuse to keep MVC teams out of the big dance.
Let’s not give them one tonight. “Prove ‘Em,” Braves! I can't wait.

DC do you know how+when the team traveled? does HOTB help with airfare or were they on a bus?
hope they're not playing on tired/jetl-lagged legs, but I'm sure BW has them ready to play regardless.

you guys are good!
Yes, the first picture is of several players from Illinois Wesleyan 1976-77.

jzlMhm

The school I attended in '96 and '97. They had great D-3 teams too, but BU hoops was my focus while at IWU.

I do not know the specific details of this trip, but they most likely would have chartered a plane and left yesterday morning in order to arrive at least 24 hours ahead of the game and get a chance to practice once on the opponent's floor.
I've had the opportunity to travel on several team trips in past seasons, by both bus and plane. The team will usually bus if the trip is 4 or 5 hours or less, but they will usually fly on longer trips. If the trip is not a simple direct flight, which Peoria has very few of, then they will usually fly via a chartered flight. Most MVC game destinations are by bus because they can be made in less than 4 or 5 hours. But cities like Springfield, MO, and Nashville are usually chartered flights. Likewise, Wichita and Creighton (Omaha) were always charter flights.

And the Athletic Department always covers all travel expenses for every team. The HOTB only arranges deals for the players themselves, they do not pay for team expenses.

The new road unis are SHHHHAAAAARRRP (IMO)
I like the Black along sides on the shorts; nice swing back to the Bradley red (with black) outline of the script letters on the front!

I'm not sure those are their actual road game uniforms. They might be their red practice uniforms.
Here are a couple twitter posts from October 29 with multiple photos. That was the day before the exhibition game with Millikin, when the team got to practice in Carver Arena.

The team was wearing those same red uniforms with the black trim down the sides of the shorts and black outline around the script Bradley and around the numbers.

Yes, I was mentioning that in another thread. It seems there are several sets of jerseys. The red/white scrimmage jerseys have the Underarmour logo on the right shoulder area (both red and white jerseys). The actual white game jerseys have it in the center with some additional red trim on the shoulders and such.

The red scrimmage jerseys had no black on them, but these ones with the black trim seem to be some sort of game day practice jerseys. I’m not sure we’ve actually seen the official road jerseys yet. But I completely agree the black trim looks fantastic and I hope it’s on the actual road jerseys.

There also some pictures of a black warm up jersey and those look sharp too. I’m hoping that bodes well for a black alternate jersey.

Here are some reference pics from another thread I attached. The white game days ones I don’t have attached here, but you can see the difference with the trim and logo.

Zek is not acting like a senior tonight. Lazy defense, mental lapses, forced shots. That is disappointing to see. After not boxing out and luckily having the ball still come right to him, he lazily held the ball, got it stripped, and lost the lead. He needs to step up the effort, we need him.

As a plus, this is the player I was hoping Connor Dillion would be. Quick stroke, good shooter.

Not sure how Calmese flexes every time he scores and no T on any of that. Straight up taunted our bench on the last one ... A lot more than Hannah did. Obnoxious player...
