Good game, but they made the plays in the final 40 seconds and we did not. Eastman had a great look for the lead and couldn't knock it down.
 
Wow. Ford really has your boys bought into his system. I always did like that hire. His path is similar to Marshall's. Started bringing it along by his 3rd year. The future is bright, and probably even this year. I think you guys will be a factor in this race all year long. I was conceding with a few minutes left. I thought you guys had it. I told my dad, "Well, this won't be a horrible loss and I don't think anyone will go undefeated. We will still be in this." That is still true and even true for you all. No one will go undefeated in the Valley. Not looking to the game against you all in Wichita. Good game Braves.
 
Thanks for the classy post. I know Wichita is short handed. I am happy with were we are headed though. I wish we had Fred VanFleet. He is going to be a player.
 
Down by 1 with plenty of time left and take a 3 right out if a time out? As poor as our 3 point shooting is why? Guess the reason I'm upset is because it's another game we should have won. Hard listening to a game on the radio and listening to missed free throws again in clutch time.

Wide open 3 by the guy who hit 3 in a row earlier...I have no problem at all with that shot. I wouldn't say we should have won either. It was a great game, but the better team is the one who came out on top. They were so much better than us inside. Prosser missed a couple at point bland range..make those and we probably win.

we had some nice runs but our failure to handle the press at times and the failure to hit the three with regularity continue to hurt us.

In the BSS room before the game Coach Greg Graham said here'd be four NBA scouts there to watch Cleanthony Early...and in the first half early made some silly fouls but still had 12 pts...and he played well in the 2nd half as well hitting 4-7 from 3-pt
He was the difference in the game - if we had a really athletic wing we might have contended - and I hope Tucker fits that bill...

Wichita sure has grabbed some good juco players - Early, Hall, Wiggins, Lufile..to go with their good freshman guard VanVleet

But as some encouragement - if we play this hard and defend like this - we're definitely in the upper half of the Valley

Early was definitely the difference maker. Play like we play tonight every night, and we're in the 3-6 matchup and it won't be as the 6...
 
Agreed tornado. We still don't have the depth, length, or horses (that sounds kinda dirty, doesn't it? ;) :lol: ) to compete with a team like WSU but, if we play like this, we are definitely a top 5 team in the MVC. Wichita's size and length is just ridiculous compared to us. I just love the way Marshall finds these guys with 7'+ wingspans... We need that too.
 
Oh, and ESPNU's Mark Adams was a real pleasure to listen to... He eally knows his stuff and was very complimentary of both Bradley and Wichita.
 
I'm hopeful Pickett can turn it around in 3 days to be ready for the next game. That was a hard fall and I'm quite sure his lower back will be very tight and sore.

GG ,yes I can confirm your parents are in good hands down here. This is not a cult ,it is Disneyland for adults. This is my 2nd year down here and I just love it. I miss the Braves but this place is unbelieveable. Watched the game tonight and it gave me more hope that better days are not that far off. Couple shooters ,a PG and couple bigs and we will be right in the mix with WSU and CU. Go Braves
 
Anytime you play a top league team with as much of a talent advantage as the shockers clearly have and you are talking about a play or shot here or there, you've played a good game. A win wouLd have been great but Bradley is going in the right direction.
