Tony Bennett played in Finland last season, and was the league's top scorer at 37 points per game.

This season he was looking to play somewhere closer to the US. He started last fall with a team in the Mexican pro league, Durango, where he averaged 16 points per game.
Now he has signed with Halifax (Nova Scotia) of the Premiere Basketball League.

The PBL features teams from the US and Canada.
Halifax is currently in 1st place in their division-

Tony played in his first game last night, a 123-119 win over Manchester. He came off the bench and played 15 minutes, and scored 10 points.

Tony is one of my favorite players. Played hard and never back away. Just a tough guy. I wish our players today played like him. Good Luck Tony

Tony plays for the Halifax Rainmen of the Premiere Basketball League (PBL). That inculdes teams from the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Tony's team, Halifax, is in Nova Scotia, the far eastern part of Canada.

The PBL is well below most European countries in what they pay players. Because Tony is the star of his team, he probably gets more than most players in the PBL. But salaries probably are around $25,000 to $50,000.
