Other former BU players still playing include Anthony Parker of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Patrick O'Bryant, who has not yet signed to play. And there may still be others who could sign to play pro for 2010-2011.

Yah... great game for sure... but most of these summer leagues are just jacking up 3's and not playing any defense right? I mean, he may have "kicked Detroit Pistons' guard Will Bynum's a**" but Bynum scored 51 himself so either they are playing 4- 20 mins quarters, or very litty defense is being played... 59 and 51 point are impressive none the less...

I know there's generally little defense, but hey -- those other guys are NBA'ers...even Antoine Walker & others......
but just reporting the news....

The season has started for a number of European leagues.

Theron Wilson scored 22 points and had 8 rebounds in his first game for Salon Vilpas.

Eddie Cage finished last season with Promobys Valle de Almanzora Tijola of the Spanish LEB Silver League, where he lost to Zach Andrews' team in the finals of their playoffs. He is not listed on their roster for 2010-2011, so we don't know where he might be playing this season.-

Eddie Cage has signed with a new team for 2010-2011. He will play for A.D. Tarragona of the Spanish LRB Silver League-

Great for Eddie to keep his career going. I wonder how much longer he'll play... If my memory is correct, he should be 32 or 33 by now...

Good guess. Eddie Cage's birthday is Nov. 7, 1978, so he'll be 32 in a few weeks. He redshirted one year because of injury, so he was at Bradley for 5 seasons- from 1996-1997 through 2000-2001. This will be Eddie's 10th season playing professionally in Europe in Germany, England, and Spain..

Will Franklin has signed with a new pro team for another season of playing overseas-

He signed with Etoile du Sahel of the Tunisian Division I pro league.
Etoile du Sahel was the best team in the league last year, and won the postseason playoff-

Will spent last season in Braunschweig Germany playing for the New Yorker Phantoms.

Cellus' team in the top French pro league is off to a blazing start -- they have won their first two league games by a combined 29 points...

In game 1, Cellus was the top scorer with 19 pts, but also had 5 rebs & 3 asst, and he hit 3-6 from 3pt range
In game 2, Cellus had only 4 pts, but grabbed 8 rebounds and had 4 asst.

Prior to the regular season, Cellus' team played two games in the Eurocup Challenge (tournament) and Cellus averaged 13.5 ppg & 9 reb per game in those two games.

Some video highlights..The first few minutes are all about Cellus...Cellus is #4 and talks a lot about his life in Paree.....and thankfully Cellus' words are all in English

Zach Andrews ..

in his first game with his new team in the Japanese league..
Zach did not start but came off the bench and only logged 17 minutes..
but they were incredibly productive minutes...
He was 5-6 from the floor, added a FT, and ended up with 11 pts, 5 rebs, and 2 steals...he is on the same team as ex-Butler Bulldog Willie Veasley who had 8 costly turnovers..

Phillip Gilbert's new German team is 5 games into their season and PG is averaging 9 ppg, 3 rebs, and 2.5 apg and he's leading the team with 57% on FG shooting
