Former BU recruit Mislav Brzoja, who visited Bradley and was close to committing, finally committed to Northwestern last night-

It was Northwestern's assistant coach Ivan Vujic that helped arrange for Mizlav and fellow Croatian Matej Buovac to come to America and enroll in different Indiana prep schools.

There are also some new names on the Recruiting Board that Bradley is recruiting for 2013-

but he still has not been admitted, and because he has attended multiple high schools, including coursework from Europe -
it might be a while to find out if Northwestern accepts him - and there have been a few published reports that it may be doubtful...

I understand if NU does not admit him he will go to Dayton.

Nice prediction- it turns out he does not qualify to be admitted to Northwestern, and therefore Northwestern has now withdrawn their offer to Mizlav. He has announced that he will now switch and attend Dayton, but there are reports that he may not be accepted there. So the Saga of Mizlav Brzoja may not be over yet.

wow

wow

He went from visiting Kentucky to having to take Dayton offer...huge difference there..sounds like Milton Doyle all over again.

but the kid's generally not making the decisions on these Euro prep school cases - there's some "handler" involved who has already paid for the kid's prep school tuition (generally in the $30-50K per year\range) who then controls these decisions...
Had the kid taken one of the fine midmajor offers he had he could be at BU or some similar place but will now soon be calling Florida International to see if they have an opening...

Ivan Vujic was a former assistant coach at Northwestern who helped them land a number of European kids to help their program, and who helped both former BU recruits Matej Buovac and Mizlav Brzoja come to America and get placed at prep schools.
He has now been hired at DePaul as their Director of Basketball Operations. Sounds like DePaul might try for some of those Euro kids.
