Blake Ahearn is the leading scorer in the NBA D-League, averaging 24.6 ppg for the Reno Bighorns

But his claim to fame is that tonight he set a record with his 103rd consecutive free throw.

The previous high for the D-League was Ahearn himself in 2007-2008 when he hit 79 in a row. The NBA record is 97 by Michael Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

espn says his salary is 48 K

next closest on the roster is Demare Carroll with 550 K

This is Ahearn's 3rd stint in the NBA. He played in 12 games for Miami in 2007-2008, and 3 games for San Antonio in 2008-2009. But because his roter time is well less than 1 year's service in the NBA, he still qualifies for the NBA minimum salary for 1st year players which is $490,180 per year, prorated for the number of games he remains on the roster.
Here are the NBA minimum salaries from the current collective bargaining deal-

Draft picks have a different initial salary scale, and veteran players can negotiate their own higher salary deals.
