UMNSBZLWFGTVNNP.20081211151310.jpg

Chris Roberts 14
Dodie Dunson 13
Sam Maniscalco 12
Anthony Thompson 10 plus 8 rebounds!!

Eddren McCain 8 pts, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.

BOTH Will Egolf & Sam Singh were ailing and WE did not play

one blogger says the BU score is the surprise of the tourney so far!!

(translated from Portugese)
..."The result that draws more attention is the beating of Bradley
(98 th ranking in the NCAA) on Bauru (6 in NBB), even without L. Taylor
(50% of the time)."

His meaning is that Bradley's RPI was only 98th best in NCAA D-I and yet BU thrashed
the 6th best team in the top pro division in Brazil...this was NOT expected!!

I love Bradley basketball starting in August. Early games and early team practices to build some cohesion. I cant wait for a full Carver Arena in the winter.

P.S. I haven't said much lately because I have nothing pertinent to add. However, I have been lurking to keep up-to-date on the Braves. I am sure I speak not only for myself, but many others when we say thank you to anyone who is keeping us privy to the happenings in Brazil and for the rest of the preseason.

thanks Fyrebyrd --

here's a picture from the arena where BU is playing....
this was taken by one of the players as the first game was about to start ahead of Bradley's game

Guys... this is just a foreign tour exhibition.

If they aren't working on fundamentals, then something is wrong. Bradley should be struggling. We should be reading/hearing about what Bradley needs to do to get better.

Wanted to beat Debbie-Downers to it.

awesome...love those BLACK uniforms!!

I wanna buy one at the auction!!

BTW-- note BU outscored Bauru 71 - 39 over the final 3 quarters..
wow, a 32 pt margin over the final three periods!

TB is a stud, and I don't think a whole lot of the teams we play this year will have anyone who matches up.

I doubt it means there is any discussion about changing the uniforms. Those are just their black practice jerseys.

I hope so. Kavanagh was the only reason we didn't.

So KK was the only one in favor of Bradley wearing their colors?

I'm not opposed to black because it is black. I am opposed to brown, purple, green, yellow, etc (including black)... cause they aren't the school colors.

I am for Red (actually crimson) and White. Bradley's colors.

Also this article, but they are a little dishonest in saying why their home team lost!
Note that they say...
"with a game of great intensity, constant rotation of 12 players on court, strong defense
and excellent use of the pitches outside, the Americans turned the
confrontation."

gimme a break...Bradley had 12 players on the court?? They didn't even have 12 players on the trip and they sure didn't have 12 players available!!
