Game #3 Arch Madness quarterfinal

Loyola threw the ball away and Valpo picked it up and got a really good look from 3 but missed it . Valpo rebounded it and a foul was called against Loyola but the refs ruled it happened after the buzzer. We’re going overtime baby!

On the one hand, I really like Loyola and the MVC definitely feels like its a 2 team conference this year. On the other hand, Loyola is the team that'd give us the biggest headache.

Unbelievable ending!!!!!
Loyola had what looked like the last shot, but they turned it over and Valpo took a shot that missed, but then Valpo rebounded and was fouled. But the refs ruled that the foul happened just after the time expired, thus no foul. The game is headed to overtime! 68-68.

Javon Freeman-Liberty fouls out in overtime. He only had 6 points, 1 rebound, and 4 turnovers to go along with his 5 fouls.

Another video review. Valpo leads 72-71 with 53.8 left in OT. Refs are letting the teams play it out. It’ll have to be an obvious foul before one is called

There have been so many quick back and forth moments that both defenses are having it’s amazing seeing this effort. 29.7 left Valpo leads 72-71 Loyola ball underneath their basket

Mad scramble under the basket and Loyi
missed a shot but Krutwig got the rebound and was fouled with 13.0 left. 2 FT’s

Made the first Valpo takes timeout to set up their last possession. 13-26 from the ft line for Loyola

Loyola lost this game at the ft line as they went just 14-27. It’s been a problem all year and it just bit them in the ass at the worst possible time. Eron Gordon made a layup with 3.3 left off a brilliantly called play. Half court heave by Clemons, who had 28 points but didn’t score in OT, hit off the backboard and upset #2 happened. WOW!

First time in 30 years if Arch Madness that both #1 and #2 went down in the quarterfinals. College basketball has been nutsy fagin this season so why should Arch Madness be any different. Just glad we didn’t succumb to upset Friday

That's on moser.....they only had 5 fouls, had one to give and make Valpo take it out of bounds with short clock...should have fouled
