Hayden Hoerdemann

You are welcome here...in fact, the single thing I have said the most about recruit rankings...is that ALL the kids south of Joliet or west of Elgin get overlooked and underhyped, while many of those in the Chicago area are way overhyped...

No place do you find more names that were rated TOP 10 in the state then fizzled out and were never heard from again...

:eek:Ok folks I never said that there were "overlooked" stars in the south.....I would have to go along with the fact that because the population is heavily favored toward the north that competition is better so players stand out more......But that does not mean it always translates to the college game (especially D-I).......Also, you can call me a rascist I am just stating the facts........look at the makeup of most Division I schools starting lineups and they are heavily laden with minority players...........And you can gang up on me all you want I like BU and I follow this site religiously so just because my screen name isnt BU related does not mean anything......

CC...Did you get my P.M.?

Hayden Hoerdemann -- got looks from Bradley and was recruited by ISU...

Now that he's committed to Western Michigan....I think it's fair to say his senior year did not exactly suggest he should have gone higher.

He's a good player, but he did not have as good a senior season as many expected....

His team, Bloomington Central Catholic did not even win their own Regional.
They were beaten last night on their own home floor 71-51 by El Paso...
Hoerdemann had 15 points but only had 4 into the 4th quarter when El Paso was already up by double digits...
Hoerdemann missed some games with injury and had some really nice games, including one of 35 points...
Good luck to him at Western Michigan...and in a couple years he will face ISU as Western Michigan was ISU's BracketBuster opponent this past week.....and so they'll be coming back to ISU for the return game in a couple years.

I agree with Coach,

I watched DSE at Washington and wondered why BU was so interested. I was wrong, very wrong.

What were you watching that indicated he WASN'T a good find??? DSE clearly showed his quickness and athleticism, court smarts, and ability and to drive and get to the rim during his entire career at Washington.
