He's Back

Re Taylor Brown back

I thought the "Resurrection" is sometime in late April in 2011?
Too late for the NCAA's next year...;-)

There has to be a gray area. If it's positive, it won't be taken down.

I'm with BradleyBrave. I'll believe it when I actually see him suit up against Jackson State. :)

Forget the Jackson St game...

If TB is ready and can get back for the Valley opener or tune up with Detroit, that would be a heck of a change in plans, a great story, and he should be acknowledged with a loud applause...

That said, I have learned it's better to expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised

Kind of makes you wonder what is going on, hope in Taylors case he could play and for whatever reason was cleared by the medical staff, doubt he would be allowed to make this decision on his own as Bradley was the one requiring the test on all athletes so they more then likely would not let him play if he was not given an ok. by a doctor, what happened to the 3 month wait period?

Sorry to be the bubble buster, I just tweeted Taylor and asked if he was cleared. He said they are still not sure about the basketball side of things....still waiting on test.

Heard he was going to start lifting , what is different about lifting weights as I thought he was not suppose to do any physical activity of any kind for 3 months, leads me to believe he is being tested every so often to see what is going on and quite possibly his latest results were good enough to clear him to begin to workout which is a good sign.

I know we have at least two doctors on this board so maybe they can eloborate but according to my doctor uncle he needs to de-condition so his heart muscle gets smaller to allow for proper evaluation. So maybe he cant do cardio but can left weights or maybe they think it wont take 3 months for his heart to shrink. Im not sure but it would be awesome if they gave him a clean bill of health sooner than later.
