How many Braves fans will be in Oakland?

We sold out 1,500 tickets by 2pm yesterday.

However many you take, you can add about 16,000 to your fanbase on Thursday as I'm sure everyone but a couple thousand Tiger fans will be rooting against us.

I purchased two yesterday and today I bought 2 more for friends of mine that I have converted to Brave fans!

Yikes. We got our tickets yesterday evening and I don't think we were that close to selling out yet. Sounds like you all are buying them at a faster clip. I hope we sell our full batch.

That is one of my keys to the game for BU....stay close and get the crowd on your side OR blow em out and who really cares

It's not so simple to just buy tickets. I am in LA and I want to go, but I work in Television, so taking off is not easy. I sure hope I can drive up there watch the Braves win and then come back.

My job isn't too forgiving when it comes to BU basketball. :(

Yeah, I was bummed when I tried to buy a beer at the American Airlines Center in Dallas and found out Big Brother wasn't selling beer. :cry:

Sound almost unAmerican. Are you sure there will be no beers sold at the Arena? If not there will have to be some real pre-partying happening. Also can you leave the Arena in-between games, if so I'll have one of my friends stack his trunk with some nice cold ones.
 
The only beer that is "sold" is in the luxury boxes. The purchases have to be made by Wednesday and the beer is conviently left in the fridge. The beer signs in the arena have to be covered.
 
The alumni department was all out of the tickets that were given to them, not sure if the A.D. has any left.

Heard through the grape vine that Francesca's (the place for the pregame party) has been given the guarantee that BU will turn out atleast 400 strong for the festivities.

I'd also heard Ken Goldin has put together two flights of 150 fans/plane. Should be quite a party...
