ICC Basketball - Now Ranked #5 Nationally

ICC has zoomed up in the national rankings due to a couple big wins over tough opponents.

ICC ranks #5 this week in the new NJCAA poll, with
#1 Cecil Community College (9-0)
#2 Harcum College (10-0)
#3 South Suburban College (9-0)
#4 Kirkwood Community College (12-1)

ahead of ICC, with ICC owningthe only win by anyone over the four teams ahead of them, when they beat Kirkwood 79-74 back on 11/16.

ICC is led by Breland McKnight 16.5ppg/5.8rpg, Jimmy Kuban 8.3ppg/3.7apg, Reuben Werner 7.8ppg, Travis Davis 6.4ppg/5.9rpg.
They are averaging 77.6ppg vs opponents' 64.5ppg.

In the Juco D-I poll, Chipola is still #1, but Southwest Illinois College (9-0) has moved up to #3.
Indian Hills (Dwight Buycks, Leon Powell), Vincennes (Dodie Dunson), and Southeast Illinois College (TJ Marion) have all dropped in the rankings.

Interesting is that Lincoln College received enough votes to get ranked
but they were left off because they have not bothered to submit their stats to the NJCAA,
which is a requirement to appear in the rankings.

"they failed to have their results/stats updated on the NJCAA website,
which is a requirement to be eligible for ranking."

In D-I juco, Chipola is still at #1

Is this meant as a joke or something??
Recall that last season ICC spent a considerable amount of time sitting atop the national polls ranked #1, and there was talk over on the other board that ICC could beat Bradley.
In the end, not one of the ICC players from last year was logging any significant time at the D-I level, and in fact, only one is even on a D-I roster, and that's Wendell Mardis, averaging 2 points per game in 13 miniutes at Alabama State, who are 2-7 against D-I competition.
Also, that supposedly top ranked ICC team from last season didn't even win their own regional on their own home court.
They would not beat Bradley, trust me.
