I think we should try to organize a Bradley Fans caravan to go see Mr. Wilkins play next year in his first game. Show him how much the fans are looking forward to having him part of the Hilltop. It's not that far...

I have been to Burlington, IA. It's a lovely place. Probably about 2 hours from Peoria.

However- here is another idea- they might play games closer to Peoria than Burlington. Here is their schedule for this year-

They actually played ICC, Lincoln, and Spoon River, but all of them at their home court. Maybe they might play at ICC or another closer school next year. We'll have to wait until their schedule comes out next fall.

Great Idea:!: I'll go, but can we stop in Gulfport for a cold one. Just for old time's. I had a girl friend or two there years and years and years ago. OH, forget it, their either in a nursing home or dead by now. Anyone remember Gulfport? Tough rivertown with all night bars, strip clubs and wild women:!: 24/7's:cool:

That's ok OOB I was just having a little fun... Let me know if you go on the Wilkins road trip. I know you will hit all the good places before and after the game!:)

Don't think you're the only one, OOB. If there is such a trip and it's warm enough, there's a great golf course in Burlington. If I'm in town, count me in.

I have no idea how to organize such an event. When my fellow Viper owners do something like this we just get in our cars and drive... We could get in touch with BU and get a bus or Peoria Charter... I could help with those type of things... I just would not want to do it alone. I think it is a good idea--especially if we do it a couple times and make sure it is EARLY in the season before too many BCS boys get involved (which they probably already are).

Your right Chico about that golf course. I have not played that one yet but I have some friends who have and say it is a good one. Its just on the other side of the bridge in Burington. When you come back from the warm weather this year we need to get togather for a round. Just in case you have not heard the weather is great here. Just BSing:lol: Take Care:!:

I might be able to help you with it. It's just to good of a thing to pass on it. A couple trips for maybe 3 years of a player like him:!:

I'll take you up on that. The PGA is out here this week. Lot better weather here than Peoria, no matter what you say.

The golf course is Spirit Hollow and it is a very good and tough golf course, kind of similar to Crane Creek in Kilbourne; they run specials in the fall.

I'd be up for a road trip to see JW ....but I'm not a golfer and would most likely have to go on a week-end (fri-nite or sat game)
