i noticed that alot of people on this site like to link articles and profiles of recruits and such, but i never see my site linked...

check out Illinoishsbasketball.com for the most accurate info on all of todays top recruits.
I go to games almost everyday and i have seen them all...

Thanks......
I guess many of the people here on BradleyFans are just not as familiar with your site, as we are with many of the others that have been around longer. I personally like your site and plan to use it and reference it.

Can you do a player profile on Sam Maniscalco, as some are ranking him inside the Top 10 in his class?
And I am curious how many games Hobson has played, as I have seen DCS several times, and he is always out with injury, and again
last Saturday night, he tried to play then went out with injury, but the newspapaer in Decatur labelled his effort Saturday as his DEBUT as if he had not yet played:

When Decatur Christian and Boys to Men played you said:
"Sat Feb 10, 2007 12:41 am
They already played in the fall at the prep classic. Decatur won in a close one"
http://jimhayes.forumup.org/about509-jimhayes.html

It looks like as of last Saturday, the two teams had actually already played each other THREE times.
DCS had won the two previous meetings, then on Saturday, Feb. 3, Boys to Men won in their third meeting of the year.

PS-- I take it that the message board you link to is not of your creation? On your own ID page on that message board you don't even link to your website.

Also PS-- do you see many games in Central Illinois?
Any opinions on the Peoria area players such as the ICC kids, Breland McKnight, Josh Edmonds, etc..

I would disagree with the low ranking of Sam Maniscalco. The results of his play this year speaks for itself. Behind Justin Bocot and Tim Flowers? Come on.

Flowers is the most consistant player in the state.
Bocot has alot of potential because of how athletic he is, and has alot of high majors going at him.
I have only seen maniscalco once this season and he looked really good, but missed alot of shots.
Cole is a very underated player in my eyes. He may seem to some to be overrated, but his performance in last years state tournament says it all.

The game i was refering to between DCS and BTM was at the Prep classic in Deerfield. Hobson played in that game.

Flowers may be consistent, but Sam is as consistent as they come. If they're being rated on upside as is the case with Bocot, Flowers has very little. He's a 6'3" power forward who gets the absolute most out of his talent, but that's where it ends. I understand how a bad game may alter one's perception, but I would think dominating Demetri McCamey and Evan Turner twice in a month in a half would be worthy of an upgrade for Sam. The numbers are hard to argue with.

Here is a report from just a couple weeks ago when Decatur Christian played in a prep tourney out east,
that Bradley is after Duro Bjegovic of Decatur Christian.

"Duro Bjegovic, a 6-foot-8, 235-pound versatile playmaker from Croatia. Bjegovic broke his thumb, resulting in six places of the thumb being shattered. On Wednesday, Bjegovic participated in his "first practice in two months," and there's a chance he could play. Florida International, DePaul, Illinois State, Bradley and Northwestern are among the schools interested in him."

Who in the conference is better then Cole????
Obviously some people other then me think hes good pecause he got tons of offers and player great this summer with the warriors.

On any given night someone could be better, but he has been the most consistent in scoring double figures and rebounding.

There is a reason the BCS schools were after him, but I cannot imagine anyone on Manual, Central, Woodruff, Pekin, or Notre Dame are consistently better.
The only three guys close might be Dehm, McKnight and Edmonds, and none got any mid to higher D-I offers that we know of.

Breland McKinight got zero D-I offers.
He is way too slow and too bulky to ever play guard (even though he has a nice midrange jumper), and way too small and can't jump so he'd never play forward.
Where would he play in college?
He'd have been better to concentrate on football.
Just his size and bulk gets him some fine games in high school, but he still isn't able to get Manual past the .500 mark.
He'll do OK at the lower juco level, but he'll still be hard pressed to play D-I.

That is not true at all he could not pass the ACT.If he would have passed the ACT he had several offers but he couldn't and that is why he is going the JUCO route.

Ok, how do you know that he did got D-I offers?

I have never seen, nor heard any report he received any D-I offers.

Well in that case, im not going to say the kid is lieing, but many many kids have gave me different exuses as to why they cant accept any of their many D-1 offers when in truth its because they dont have any.

Brian Stinnette of chicagohoops has a brand new ranking of his Class of 2007.
Sam Maniscalco is still in the Top 10.
http://www.chicagohoops.com/articles1/2007rankings.html

I also note that Mr. Ponemann of illinoishshoops.com has revised his rankings, and now has Sam Maniscalco up to #14.
http://www.freewebs.com/chipatsj23h/classof2007ranking.htm
(but he has non-IHSA eligible players on the list which would move Sam to #12)

(there you go, Daniel, Im doing my best to link to your site!!. 0

I actually moved him up more, in my new commited seniors ranking, he is 12 and the only uncommited player better then him is hobson.

Daniel, just curious....Why did you decide to move Sam up, have you seen him play lately?
