Illinois St game promotion

Why are we not doing any last minute promotions for the ISU game? I know they did the combo promotion with some of the other home games, but I haven’t seen anything for the remaining seats over the past couple weeks. It looks like about 1000 tickets remain…why not make a hard last week push to get to a sell out? Family 4-packs, combos with free popcorn, etc. 9,500 is still impressive, but 10,450 would be an amazing environment.

Let's hope we get 1000 last minute fans to sell out our game against rival Illinois State! Although they are not living up to there billing so far this year, I believe they are still have a legitimate shot at Arch Madness if they are healthy and get the first round bye! We are playing the Preseason pick to win the Valley on top of them being our closest 39 miles away rivals! Would be ashamed if our fans don't sell out Carver!!!!

I think there are more then 1000 seats available. The reason being that they stated all the lower bowl seats were sold but I think they held back a bunch of them and did not put them out on the market for our opponents fans to scoop them up. There have been so many open seats in my section this season and I highly doubt most of them sold way before this game. Hope I am wrong and all the BU fans purchased them.

I expect very few ISU fans to come this year. Even though they beat Bradley in Normal, most are disgusted with their team now.

I don"t know it seems like their younger fans only care about them when they play Bradley. Since they beat us badly at their place I would think more of them will come to Peoria this season.

I think you are on to something. Looking at the seat chart it’s odd that every lower bowl seat and the bulk of the lower part of upper bowl are sold.

Wow - 9,500 turnout would be impressive for this year's team. I think even over 8K is.
I think last season there were close to 9,000 and we were in 1st place and looking strong.

We've only averaged about 8,000 the last few seasons even with arguably better teams.

Our game against Ill.State is a must win! We hold our own destiny if we win out next 3 games, we should secure 2nd seed. Otherwise, UIC wins out, they have 2nd seed. The big question is what team will be left out of the first round bye with a 6th place finish?

Bradley and UIC are very close in NET rankings as of today with Bradley a slight edge. So if we win out and beat UIC, and a 2nd place tie occurs, it could come down to the tightest edge in NET!

If we win out, 2nd place is ours without question.

We had over 9600 last season vs ISU. Average walkup crowd and we should be close to that.

There's 959 tickets available this morning on Ticketmaster. That doesn't mean that there has been 9,499 tickets sold (The Drake game box score three years ago listed 10,458). There's some outside forces at work. Regardless, it should be a great home court advantage.

We are not winning out, I would be happy to win 2 out of 3. When your inside players cannot make layups or 3 ft. shots it leaves it all on our guards to put up massive point numbers, not a recipe for success.
I believe so too. I was just saying if we HAPPEN to win out, then we get the 2-seed without question.
We haven't won 3 straight MVC games since the easy ones at the start of the season. Now we have 3 games that could go either way, and likely we'll be 5-6 dogs at UIC. Right now UIC and Belmont I'd not want to play in St. Lou!

There just won't be any easy games for BU in Arch Madness this season.
They don't stack up well vs Valpo, tho I think we'd edge them on neutral court.
UNI and UIC are playing great and are threats to make the championship game.
