Indiana State Athletic Director resigns suddenly

Indiana State Athletic Director Sherard Clinkscales has announced he has resigned, effective Dec. 30, 2023 to "pursue other opportunities". No other details have been released by Clinkscales or by Indiana State.- https://www.tribstar.com/sports/she...cle_22f9e9ac-a9b3-11ee-8529-d3d7588bcfbb.html

It is unusual for an AD to step down mid-year, especially in the middle of what appears to be the most successful basketball season they have had in decades.
 
I won't be surprised if I hear that some within the ISU community attempt to inject racism into this decision. It's Indiana after all.
 
taking over as interim AD will be Angie Lansing, ex-wife of former Sycamore head men's basketball coach Greg Lansing,
and brother of Indiana State (basketball) HOF'er Michael Menser. She was serving in 2016 as the interim AD when Clinkscales was hired.
