In the Indiana State-UNI game, this was one game where I would have thought Stout and Coleman would have an easy time against one of the weakest frontlines in the MVC. But exactly the opposite appears to have occurred. If anyone saw this game, I would welcome the input.
From the boxscore- Coleman, who averages 13.6/9.5 had only 9/7 , and Stout, who averages 12.7/9.1 had just 5/4. Together they had only 1 assist and 7 turnovers.
UNI guards scored 26 of the 46 points, but they were only 11-28 shooting. UNI shot only 18% on 3-pointers, and got outrebounded 35-19. I doubt they have been outrebounded like that all year.
Indiana State shot well, and Gabe Moore, who had scored under his average for the last 10 games, had a great game with 21 points. And the Indiana State frontline outplayed, outscored, and outrebounded the UNI forwards. Too bad only 3,397 people were there to see it.
I don't understand how this Sycamore team could get beat by Missouri State 2 days ago at home by 29 points. And they had a 7 game losing streak that began when Bradley won there.
I hope Bradley's coaches get a copy of a video from this game. Maybe there is smething to learn about how to defend UNI.
