Indiana State gets Louisville & DePaul on Schedule

Actually, I agree heartily, but surely you recall how much heat the Wichita State Shockers took a couple years ago when they took a "guarantee game" against Syracuse with no return game.
(mostly from columnists and message board people)
Many people treated WSU as if they had just sold their mothers and used very negative terms to describe what they were doing.

But I say if the big boys aren't inclined to schedule you then do what ever you can, as it will help the conference RPI, and did in 2006 when it mattered.

Agreed. Just get the game is what I say. Especially a team like Indy State looking to improve. I think 3-4 "BCS" games, 3-4 games versus like mid majors and 3-4 home games versus bad teams is a nice balance.

I agree. Some folks on ValleyTalk think it's ridiculous for the MVC to take anything less than a home-and-home nowadays, and I think they're nuts. You do what you can to get the name and the game. If it's 2-for-1 or even a buy game, you do it. I don't think there's one person on this board that wouldn't take a 'buy' game at UNC, Kansas, Duke, or UCLA.

I'd leave Kansas off that list. My brother-in-law is a KU freak, and I forever want to be able to tell him that KU has never beaten Bradley.

Good for them, looks like they are putting together a solid non-con schedule. I'd love for us to get a team like Louisville on our schedule even if it was a one-time thing. Obviously DePaul won't play us 'cause all we do is give them beatdowns. :)

I don't think we have to worry about playing KU. After what we did to them I don't think they want anything to do with us. :-D
