Bradley has been fortunate to avoid major injuries this season. The only games missed by any starter or key player due to injury were the 2 games that Demarion Burch missed. He missed the 2 early-season games against Central Michigan and UT-Martin. Bradley beat Central Michigan by 31 points, but lost to UT-Martin 67-78. It's possible Demarion might have made a difference against UT-Martin, but obviously his injury did not affect any MVC conference games. There has been one other injury reported to Dietrich Richardson. He has not played in the last 3 games since playing a season-high 20 minutes in the loss at Illinois State. Bradley won 2 of those 3 games, beating Indiana State and Drake, and losing to UIC.
Overall, this has been one of the least injury-affected seasons in the MVC. There have been the usual minor injuries that have caused players to miss a game or two, but there have been only three injuries involving starters or key players affecting MVC games, so far--
Drake's Wilguens Jr. Exacte, who has missed 9 games and will not play again this season. Drake is 5-4 in the MVC games he missed.
SIU's Isaiah Stafford, who was projected to be a starter and key player, but injuries limited his role to mostly a bench player, and now he hasn't played since January 7. SIU was 2-4 in the MVC games he played, and are 1-4 in the games he has missed.
And, Evansville's Connor Turnbull has missed 7 games (6 MVC games) due to injury so far, though it's arguable whether his injury has made much difference. They are the last place team (1-10) and they are winless (0-5) in the MVC games when he has played and 1-5 in the games that he has missed.
