to make 1st team MVC this season?

AW did it last season on a last place team.
But I think that Taylor will have a tougher time if we finish last again.
He is currently the 3rd leading scorer in the league, and about 10th in rebounding.

I think the givens are:
Weems, McDermott, Ryan

Young (CU), Rice (DU), James (UNI), and someone from the Shox are other leading candidates.

Whatever the case, Taylor is what we thought he'd be...maybe better to start out Valley play. And coming back from a whole season sitting out, he's done quite remarkably.

Yes Taylor is good enough to be first team, a lot of season left to make your statement about how you matchup with other contenders for those spots.
 
I don't think BU's record will affect TB's chances to make 1st Team All MVC, if his numbers are superior to those he will be up against. If there are a number of players with similar resumes, BU being a poor team this year would not be in TB's favor.

2nd Team ALL MVC, however, should be a lock.
 
TB's numbers by the end of the season will be as good or comparable to anyone in the MVC except McDermott. Based on purely objective measurements, he should be a lock for 1st team. But I do believe the voters will detract from his accomplishments because of where Bradley will finish. So he might not get 1st team, but will easily be 2nd team if not 1st.
