Is there any video coverage on BUBRAVES.TV for tonight?

Does anyone know if there is any coverage for the Winona St. game tonight on BUBRAVES.TV? They did note on that site that there is a men's basketball package for $50 for the full season. Last year however, there was a listing on BUBRAVES.COM as to what games were available... this year there is no mention.... does anyone know?

I do not think tonight's game will be on BUBraves.tv. Maybe because it's at the fieldhouse it's not something they can do. Possibly Saturday's game will be covered.

Yes - the $50 is cheaper than last year. They are starting to make packages by sport and selling them individually vs. the all access pass that sold for like $80 last year.

Da Coach - great thought on why no coverage tonight, but they do televise women's games from the fieldhouse so there must be equpiment there for that. What is very strange is that there is not any list for BUBRAVES.TV on the entire men's schedule listed on the website... very strange - last year, they publicized this a lot more.

I agree. I have not purchased a package this year because I can't tell if they are going to webcast the games or not. Last year was great being to sit at home, pop open a beverage, and watch a game on my mac.

Webcast techie question

Webcast techie question

I watched a few webcasts last year on both my desktop and laptop. Neither are state of the art as far as video drivers but they are relatively new computers none-the-less (just bought the Dell laptop one year ago).

My problem is that the telecasts are somewhat choppy and not near as clear as a TV (not even as clear as the NCAA games broadcast online by CBS Sportsline).

Is this standard for everybody or is it because I do not have a top notch video card?

Any thoughts?

What kind of connection were you utilizing? In the road games I have watched, I generally have had very good, fluid feeds. Occasionally there would be some choppiness, but overall I was very happy with the product.

I have a cable connection so that is not the issue. Come to think of it, the choppiness was with the WEEK broadcasts. I never tried the Braves TV  . I'll have to give it a try this year and see if it is more clear than WEEK and CBS Sportsline NCAA Tourney games.

Braves.TV is much better and smoother than the WEEK broadcasts... the WEEK broadcasts had a very small window, and if you made it full screen - it was darn near unwatchable...

The Bradley site was much better and would be well worth the $50.

Subscribing to online video

I have a MAC OS X 10.4.8 system. When I try to play the test video before subscribing for the basketball package I get the following error message.

The page ???‚¬?“Sample Video???‚¬?? has content of MIME type ???‚¬?“application/x-oleobject???‚¬??, but you don???‚¬?„?t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type. A plug-in should be available on this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/MediaPlayer/

I go to the site and there is no plugin. I have downloaded the flash player as requested. I have the Windows Media Player for MAC(s). Can anyone help me?

I have a Mac and had the same issue last year. I ended up talking directly to the support desk. I remember that the help desk suggesting going directly to the vendor website for the necessary downloads and not use the links provided that are provided when registering. It ended up working for me - I hope it helps.
